New Generation of EFT POS Terminals Tactilion P2000L and Thin-Client Based Acquiring Platform in Papua New Guinea

Producer of payment equipment Tactilion company together with NASFUND Contributors Savings & Loan Society (NCSL) have successfully completed the first project to launch a new generation of smart EFT POS terminals Tactilion P2000L with Android OS and multivendor acquiring platform in the Independent state of Papua New Guinea. The system was launched in June 2019 and since then provides residents with non-cash payments in 24/7 timeframe. Over 1,000 pieces of smart payment equipment have been deployed in the outlets of this state. NASFUND became one of the pioneers in the region who has successfully launched such innovative solution. The success of this launch project largely depended on the fast work of all parties and clear purpose. This is a case when the distance and difference in time zones could only encourage to reach perfect results.

Tactilion’s Android POS Terminals Payment Solution is a new acquiring platform, based on a thin-client architecture being extremely flexible allows clients to ajust software acquiring solutions to new specifications meeting standard payment and very specific customer requirements. This project provides almost unlimited opportunities to local clients in the service sector, with POS-terminal Tactilion P2000L based on Android operating system they easily accomplish ECR integration, billing, transport payments, bank cards payments in HoReCa and other sectors. Besides Oceania, Tactilion Payment Solution supports processing centers in the Caribbean region, the Gulf region, the Middle East, South Africa, Russia and CIS Countries, accept card payments in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
